You may also want to check to make sure you are using your 840M graphics. otherwise you may want to play some more to decide if you will play this game enough to warrant investing more money in your laptop.īut you are definitely low on RAM as windows wants around 1.5GB and the game wants up tp 3.5GB so you can see you are over 4GB immediately. If you like city builders and plan on playing it a lot, then maybe. Memory prices have been low lately, so it's up to you on if it's worth it. If you plan on creating 9-tile cities then 8GB may be worth it as you may not get there without it. If you like assets and mods installed you will definitely need 8GB, but that will cause lag unless you use the most basic ones for need rather than want. but mid to late game your lag may return. I think it would probably eliminate lag early game.
